Aggregate Production Flow Chart
Aggregate plant includes vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, impact crusher, sand making machine, mobile crusher, vibrating screen, belt conveyor and centrally electric controlling system, etc. The designed capacity is from 40t/h to 1000t/h. To meet customer's specific requirement, we can also add other equipments such as cone crusher, dust catcher on the production line. Aggregate equipment can process all kinds of stones and ores , such as cement, quartz, feldspar, calcite, gypsum, limestone, dolomite, calcium-magnesia phosphate fertilizer, electrolytic manganese metal, manganese, coal, coal gangue, slag, zircon sand, granite, potassium feldspar, marble, barite and so on.
Aggregate crushing equipment from China includes primary crushing equipment, secondary and tertiary crushing machine and other beneficiation equipment.
Primary crushing. In aggregate quarries, large material usually is reduced in size by either a jaw crusher or a gyratory crusher. Both types are compression crushers. Although economical, they have the tendency to create thin, elongated particles. Particle shapes sometimes may be a problem for producers of hot mix asphalt. In some operations impact crushers are used for primary crushing, but they may have a slightly higher cost per ton. Impact crushers may upgrade poor-quality aggregate and increase separation, such as removal of rebar from concrete in recycling operations.
Secondary and tertiary crushing. Secondary and tertiary crushing, if necessary, are the final steps in reducing the material to a desired product size. Historically, cone crusher and sand making machine were the most common choice crushers, but in recent years impact crushers are more widely used. These crushers also are sometimes used as primary crushers for fine-grained gravel deposits.
The cone crusher simply crushes the aggregate between the oscillating cone and the crusher wall. Clearance settings on this equipment are required to be checked and maintained as part of standard operating procedure.
Selecting the right machines for your quarry is a vital decision. It will depend on many factors including the type of rock, characteristics of your site, and the precise quarrying application. Your choice will directly affect productivity, cost per ton and the profitability of your whole operation.
