The poor lubrication of cone crusher is mainly seen at the main lubrication parts: eccentric bushing and straight shaft bushing, oblique shaft bushing and main shaft, calathiform bearing bush and spherical surface. Once the cone crusher is in poor lubrication condition, there will be friction between the lubricating parts and produce lots of heat, which will cause the burn, veneer, and fissure, loosen of surface of bearing bushing and bearing segment. At the same time, the lubricating oil will deteriorate and lose efficacy very soon. In the following part, we mainly introduce the reasons about poor lubrication.
Effect Of Load Weight
In the daily operation of cone crusher, pressure among raw materials will be transmitted to the friction pairs through spare parts. And the larger the load weight, the higher the pressure will be. When the lubrication condition and rotation speed is stable, the heat produced by friction pairs will increase, leading to the rise of temperature, which will threat the lubrication of cone crusher. In this case, we must avoid overload of cone crusher.
Effect Of Rotation Speed
In the operation process of cone crusher, the faster the rotation speed, the faster of the sliding speed of spherical surface, so will the sliding speed of main shaft to the oblique shaft bushing. If the other conditions are fixed, the heat produced by friction pairs is proportion to the rotation speed of cone crusher. So generally, the rotation speed of movable cone is between 9-15 r/m. if the rotation speed is too fast, there will be lots of heat produced, causing harm to the lubrication system.
