How To Extend The Service Life Of Impact Crusher's Bearings?
As we know, the working condition of impact crusher is generally very severe, which will accelerate the damage of the rotor bearings. The rotor bearings are not only very expensive but also difficult to change. So how to take measures to effectively extend the service life of rotor bearings in impact crusher is much concerned by manufacturers and customers. In this article, we mainly introduce some solutions to extend the service life of rotor bearings in impact crusher.
1. Properly choose bearing model and calculate service life
Since the double row spherical roller bearing has advantages like large bearing capacity, reliable performance etc. so many manufacturers in China and abroad adopt this bearing as rotor bearings. And how to choose the calculated service life of rotor bearings also means a lot. According to experience, the calculated expecting life should be between 5000-1000 hours.
2. Improve the force condition of bearings
According to document, the impact load on bearings is decided by the impulse and rigidity of the elastic system on the rotor. If we increase the supporting flexibility of bearings, then the impact load on bearings will decrease. In this case, we can extend the service life of the rotor bearings. So we can follow this thought, putting a piece of rubber with proper thickness between the bearing block and supporting frame to improve the force condition of bearings.
3. Choose proper cooperative relationship
The rotor bearings in impact crusher mainly bear impact load, so the loads on each rolling element are different. So in order to keep the balance of rotor, we need to choose proper cooperative relationship.
4. Improve the balance quality of rotor
In impact crusher, rotor has large weight and high rotation speed. The casting deviation of rotor and the weight deviation produced after installing the blow bar will make the rotor produce unbalanced centrifugal force while the rotor rotates. This centrifugal force will make the impact crusher vibrates, causing damage to bearings and some other parts. So the rotor in crusher should have balance test.
