Properly Choose Motor And Adjust The Excited Force

The choice of motor is one of the key steps that affect the screening efficiency and the excited force is the main factor affects the production rate of vibrating screen.

As the vibration source of vibrating screen, the vibration motor should has reasonable design, simple and compact structure, high efficient vibration, energy saving and convenient to install etc. While choosing the motor, we should also take the following factors into consideration, such as the working frequency, max excited force, power etc. The rotation speed of motor should be close to the working frequency. The max excited force should be in the allowed range of the chosen motor.

The increasing of excited force will cause the production rate increases rapidly while the blocking rate will reduce along with the increasing of excited force. When the excited force increases, the vibration strength also increases, then the force from screen deck to the raw materials also increases. In this case, the upward speed of raw material increases, the production rate is improved and the blocking rate is reduced. The excited force also has certain influence on the passing through rate and screening rate. When the excited force is too small, the passing through rate and screening effect is poor. And then the excited force is too large, it will increase the friction of the eccentric blocks of the motor. Under the situation of high speed rotation, the motor is easy to be damaged, which will reduce its service life. So properly adjust the excited force means a lot. The excited force of vibration motor is the centrifugal inertial force produced by the high-speed rotated eccentric block. We can adjust the excited force by changing the eccentricity.

Choose Proper Type Of Vibrating Screen

Even though the working efficiency of vibrating screen is decided by the properties of raw material, but if we adopt different types of vibrating screen to process the same raw material, we can get different screening effect. For example, the efficiency of fixed vibrating screen is low. For moving vibrating screen, its screening efficiency is related with the movement form of screen deck. Raw materials on the screen deck are vibrated close to the direction that perpendicular to the direction of screen mesh. The higher the vibration frequency, the higher the screening efficiency will be. For the shaking screen, the raw materials slide along the screen deck. Since the shaking frequency of shaking screen is lower than the vibration frequency of vibrating screen, so the efficiency of shaking screen is not so good. So we should choose proper type of vibrating screen according to the properties of raw material in order to improve the vibrating screen working efficiency as much as possible.

In order to improve the working efficiency of vibrating screen, according to the actual production situation and with the final products meet the requirements, we should adopt large size of the screen mesh in order to get larger effective screen area.

Adopt Multiple Feeding Methods

Generally, most of the vibrating screens adopt one feeding point. When the raw materials are fed on the screen deck, most of the raw materials that are smaller than the separating size are at the feeding side. And they will pass through the screen mesh very soon. The main function of the other part of screen deck is to transport the raw materials instead of screening the raw materials, so the using rate of screen deck is low. But if we adopt multiple feeding methods, it is just like we increase the width of the screen deck and reduce the material layer on the screen deck. In this case, the fine particles will pass through the screen mesh quickly and the screen deck gets fully used. At the same time, it can reduce the transportation distance of coarse particles, improving the working efficiency of vibrating screen.
