ZENITTH Shining at the International Aggregates Conference
On December 6th, the 8th China International Aggregates Conference was held in Shanghai, China. The conference, themed "Adapting to Changes, Rational Development, Serving Construction, and Ensuring Steady Progress," gathered government leaders from home and abroad, association representatives, and stakeholders from across the entire aggregates industry chain to collectively plan for the future development of the industry.
Mr. Wang Min, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land and Resources, Mr. Jim O'Brien, Honorary Chairman of the European Sand and Gravel Association, Mr. Xu Ningning, Chairman of the RCEP Industrial Cooperation Committee, delivered opening remarks, extending their best wishes for the complete success of the conference.
As the organizer of this conference, Mr. Yang, the founder of ZENITH, expressed that like most companies, ZENITH has experienced the disruptions caused by the three-year-long pandemic and the current global economic downturn. Regardless of how many obstacles lie ahead, we can’t retreat. We can only meet this most difficult period with a hundredfold effort, elevating innovation, quality, and responsibility to a higher level. This is to ensure that we remain in the aggregates equipment market and that our customers continue to profit.
The conference has provided industry colleagues with a high-standard communication platform. In addition to insightful keynote speeches, various themed forums and exchange activities have also been conducted.
At the "Sustainable Development Forum," Antonis Antoniou Latouros, chairman of the European Sand and Gravel Association delivered an important speech. He emphasized the significant role of the associations in the sustainable development of the aggregates industry. He discussed the challenges and opportunities currently faced by the European sand and gravel industry and shared a summary of the various measures and efforts taken to promote its development with the attending guests.
Leopold Fang, CEO of ZENITH, drew on his over 30 years of experience in the aggregates field at ZENITH. He provided a comprehensive analysis from various perspectives such as scale, cost, digitalization, new technologies, the entire industry chain, and circular economy. Together with the attendees, he explored the development path of the aggregates industry in the face of changing circumstances.
He also expressed that from a global perspective, the aggregates industry is undoubtedly a long-term, stable, and slowly growing industry with a bright development outlook. Drawing from his previous experiences in overseas exchanges, including New Zealand, he shared the key areas of focus and challenges faced by both developed and developing countries.
In the current global economic downturn, ZENITH firmly believes that only through unity, cooperation, and mutual benefit can the industry achieve sustainable development. On the path of globalization, ZENITH is willing to share its experiences with global counterparts, actively participate in international exchange activities, establish good partnerships with international clients, and jointly explore the development opportunities and challenges of the industry in order to contribute to the construction of a better home and the realization of the grand goal of a shared future for humanity.
